Final Report

The Final Report is the first final output of the Don’t Gig Up, Never! project. This document built on previous phases of the project and aimed at addressing features of labour platforms other than those providing food delivery and passenger transport services (type 3 and 4 platforms) at national and EU level, as well as existing and possible policies and strategies for social partners, summarising the main findings with a view to delivering policy recommendations.

Model of Terms and Conditions of Service

The Model of Terms and Conditions of Service is the second final output of the Don’t Gig Up, Never! project. This short document provides a set of easy-to-read and easy-to-adapt proposals for possible improvements to the labour platforms’ Terms and Conditions of Service.

The reports present the results of the first research phase of the project to analyse features and challenges of the digital labour platforms in seven EU countries: Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Estonia and Sweden.

Each of the seven national reports is aimed at updating the results of the Don’t Gig Up! Project about the platform workers’ employment and social conditions, the national political and academic debates, the national features and trends, the relevant legislative and case law developments, and the trade unions and employers’ organisations actions.

The reports present the results of the second phase of the project, consisting in empirical qualitative research, which made it possible to realise a number of national case studies in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Estonia and Sweden. The case studies cover labour platforms providing services outside the passenger transport and goods delivery sector, analysing the platform’s business models, the services provided to the costumers and to the workers, the working conditions, as well as the social partners involvement.
